Pachypodium geayi are succulents in the Plumeria family of Apocynaceae that are native to Southern Madagascar. They are fast growers and are one of the largest pachypodium. They can be easily grown indoors in a very sunny window. Pachypodiums are easy to grow and great for beginners! The flowers are white with a yellow center. Pachypodium geayi typically flower in late Spring to early Summer. They are hardy to zones 10 and up and need full sunlight to light shade exposure. During winter Pachypodium need very little water, and may lose their leaves. Use a well draining potting mix consisting of organic and inorganic substrate for best results. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested. Do not consume.

Pachypodium geayi seed germination rates are high and typically take 3 to 15 days to germinate. Plant the seeds at a depth of ¼ inch to inch deep and keep them moist, but not wet and between 70°F and 80°F for best results.
