Diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate, commonly referred to as DA-6, is a plant growth hormone in the cytokinin group. DA-6 is used in fruit and vegetable crops to increase fruit size and development, whereas in ornamental crops, it is commonly used to increase flower production. In some crops (such as soybean) it has even been shown to help with seedling germination, establishment of young plants, and crop yield. DA-6 is a white crystalline powder that is odorless and readily soluble in water making it easy for agricultural application as a foliar spray or soil drench. This product contains a 1 gram jar of diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate that is 98% pure. This product must be diluted to a desired concentration before use.
