Bijlia cana is a succulent plant in the family Aizoaceae, native to a few locations in the Great Karoo desert of South Africa. Bijlia cana has yellow daisy-like flowers that bloom in the winter. Bijlia cana enjoy a very well draining soil with waterings only after the soil has dried completely. Water regularly during the winter months, and restrict waterings in the summer. During the summer months, water the plant only if it looks severely dehydrated, and water sparingly.

Plant the Bijlia cana seeds on the surface of a well draining potting soil. Water the seeds and keep them moist, but not soaking wet for 30 to 90 days. Keep the seeds between 70°F to 75°F for best results. Even with optimal conditions, seeds may have slow and sporadic germination.
